These Terms govern your use of LessonSync (the "Service"), operated by Rel Dev Solutions, Inc. ("LessonSync", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
LessonSync is a studio management platform for music teachers and small studios, providing scheduling, student management, lesson notes, recurring lessons, invoicing, and parent / student portal features.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. If you sign up on behalf of a studio or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to facilitate unlawful activity.
- Send spam, run fraudulent schemes, or harvest contact information.
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy of others.
- Upload malware, probe or scan our systems, scrape data at scale, or interfere with security or operations.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service, or circumvent technical limits.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
5. Free Trial
New paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial and may cancel at any time before it ends.
6. Your Content & Data
You retain ownership of the data you upload (student records, lesson notes, schedules, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you upload and for having any required consents from your students and their parents.
7. Our Intellectual Property
LessonSync, including all software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Rel Dev Solutions, Inc. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have purchased.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, change features, or modify the Service over time.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal. On termination, we will provide a reasonable window for you to export your data before deletion.
10. Warranties & Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rel Dev Solutions, Inc. from any claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Delaware, unless required otherwise by law.
